note is directed at
those who use
batteries
or
products with
built-in batteries
and
in the
form
delivered to
them
no longer
resell
(End User):
First
Free
return of
used batteries
Batteries may not
be disposed of with
household waste.
You are
legally obliged
to return
used batteries
to
the proper disposal
can be guaranteed.
You can
leave
batteries
in a municipal
collection center or
on site.
We are also
acting as a distributor
of
batteries
to take back
waste batteries
required, with
limited
our
obligation to take
on
the
kind of
batteries
that we carry
in our range
as
new batteries
or
have
performed.
Batteries, as defined above, you can
therefore
either
sufficient
postage
back to us
free of charge
or
they give
directly
to
our warehouse

Significance of
battery icons
Batteries are
marked with the symbol
of a
crossed out wheelie bin
(see below).
This symbol indicates
that batteries
may not be disposed
in the trash.
For batteries
containing more
than 0.0005
per cent of mercury,
more than 0.002
percent by mass
cadmium
or more than 0.004
percent by weight
lead,
is under the
garbage can symbol
the chemical name
of the particular
pollutant
-
where "Cd" for
cadmium, "Pb
"stands for
lead,
and"
Hg "for mercury."
